Managing any diseases can be daunting, especially if you’ve just been diagnosed. We can help patients who need to manage their asthma, diabetes, opiate addiction or blood pressure.
We’ll show you how to use and maintain your inhaler and asthma devices, including peak flow meters, nebulisers and spacers. This will help you get the best results and feel confident about your medicine and device/s.
As an accredited National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) access point, we provide diabetes related products at subsidised prices. That means we can help you choose the right blood glucose monitor and give you advice on how best to use it to suit your needs. We also provide advice on how to manage other aspects of your diabetes, such as foot care, dental care, wound care and eye care.
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
PrEP means Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis and it’s the use of anti-HIV medications to keep HIV negative people from becoming infected. PrEP is now available via the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). We strive to keep it in stock at all times to provide convenience and ease of access.
We have trained pharmacy staff who can take your blood pressure, discuss your results and if necessary refer you to your doctor.
